A free medical health Check-up camp was organised by the Am Foundation on 8thSeptember 2019 from 09 am to 1 pm,

The main objective of the camp was to bring affordable healthcare and free health information to the community and identify the common health problems of the community in order to prevent larger health expenditure by the poor.

A special team of Specialist Doctors, Consultants and Nurses volunteered their time and conducted free consultations and check-ups. Specialists from the fields of Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Oncology , Physiotherapy, dermatology, Audiometry, Ophthalmology, Dental attended to around 900 beneficiaries who came to the Health Camp.
In addition free Blood Pressure check, Blood Sugar level, BMI measurement was carried out on all the attendees to help identify hypertension, diabetes, anaemia and obesity. Patients were also offered free medicines worth of Rupees Rs 27000. And Spectacles were distributed to the people those are with refractive errors worth of Rs 72000. 
Furthermore, the medical camp provided opportunities to both medical and non-medical personnel to give back to the community by way of volunteering their time, energy and expertise. Over 30 men and women set aside their personal engagements and spent their holiday serving the needy in various capacities. It is because of a combined team effort that the medical camp was a success. The camp and activity is estimated to have saved at least Rs 8 Lakhs in terms of expenditure by the beneficiaries, had they gone to a clinic or hospital for the check-up.
